ALL ABOUT COURSES What is the eligibility for the course? You should be at least in 12th standard to take this course, as most of the topics are advance. In case you do not have any formal education / design training and are passionate about design, we would like to see your work before we can guide you. What is the language of instruction? Language of instruction is English, since the course contains videos instructions, you should be able to understand spoken English What is the mode of training for these courses? The mode of training for this course is online, with weekly interaction based on submissions of assignments by you. Do you have classroom training anywhere? Yes , we have classroom training facility at bangalore How does online training work? The below image explains graphically how the online courses work. What is the course structure and how is course presented? The entire course is structured weekly. Each week contains specific area of design sketching and breaks it into various subtopics, at the end of each week, there are assignments based on what you have learnt in that week, which you upload and instructors from our side send you feedback based on that assignment, thus we are able to monitor your progress on one to one basis The topics and subtopics are explained using documents, pictures and videos or combination of all the three, therefore not only you have to notes of what to do but also see our instructors doing the same, thus make the learning process much more effective. Who will be my instructors/ guides during the course? Your guides will be some of the most talented professionals who are currently part of some leading automotive and product companies (GM, Ashok Leyland, Honda, Onida, Whirlpool etc to name a few) What kind of internet connection speed do I require to take this course? though, 256 kbps is recommended, you will be able to view the contents over the gprs connection through your mobile phone, although we have kept the videos size as less as possible, it may not be smooth on the first time it plays over gprs. Do I need a scanner to submit my assignments? though scanner is recommended, many students do send us work by taking photograph using a digital camera or a mobile phone Can I directly take automotive module training? Automotive sketching is generally the toughest which require principles and fundamentals taught in the product sketching section. therefore you can NOT take automotive sketching module directly. ADVANTAGES I am already a design student, why should I take this course? With the Indian design scene opening us, the industry is getting more and more demanding. And the hard face is your ability to design literally translated into your ability to sketch and present your concepts. No course in your school will take you through the entire process of design related practices like our instructors as our instructors practicing working professionals.
